This is the suggested Maine DOT Mailbox height directive. The Town of Sidney's plow height is 43.5 inches. PLEASE NOTE!

Some of Sidney's roads are State roads and are not maintained (outside of plowing) by the Town.

Please contact Maine DOT with concerns for the following roads:

West River Road (RT104), Middle Road, Lyons Road, Route 27/Belgrade Road, and Pond Road (RT 23)

Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Wed Noon to 6:00 PM
