The Town of Sidney is accepting applications & resumes for the position of Treasurer/Tax Collector.
The Town Treasurer is responsible for oversight of the spectrum of the Town's accounting, billing, investment and financial reporting activities. That includes accounting for collection of funds, payment of invoices, administration of accounts payable and receivable, investment of Town monies, and working directly with the Town's auditor on year-end reconciliations.
Administrative Assistant to the Select Board
The Town of Sidney seeks an individual to fill a full time, with benefits Administrative Assistant position. Preferred qualifications include previous job experience in municipal services and knowledge of basic bookkeeping. The Town is looking for a motivated self-starter who can work independently. Knowledge of Word, Excel and TRIO software is preferred.
