Public Works Crew Member

The Town of Sidney has an immediate job opening for full time road crew member for Public Works. This involves manual work in the operation of front-end loaders, dozers, backhoes, trucks, and other related motorized equipment. Duties include, but not limited to, the ability to assist in the construction of new road surfaces, maintenance of existing roads, repair & maintenance of motor vehicle equipment, operate trucks and sanders for Town winter maintenance of roads and Municipal parking lots. Starting pay is dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits, including health insurance.

Deputy Town Clerk/Treasurer/Tax Collector

The Town of Sidney seeks an individual to fill a full time, with benefits Deputy Town Clerk, Treasurer, Tax Collector position. Preferred qualifications include previous job experience in municipal services and knowledge of basic bookkeeping. The Town is looking for a motivated self-starter who can work independently. Knowledge of TRIO software is a plus.
